Hon. Isalean Phillip is a born citizen and resident of St. Kitts and Nevis. She is a qualified and experienced researcher and policy professional with a background in social policy research and development. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Women and Gender Studies with a Certificate in Policy Development and Implementation.

 

As a Minister of Government, Hon. Isalean Phillip oversees the administration and management of the Ministry of Social Development and Gender Affairs and the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Ageing and Disabilities. She is an advocate for social justice and social inclusion for sustainable development and seeks, to improve systems and build programs that help to support the equitable and inclusive upliftment and protection of people, especially the most vulnerable and marginalized.

 

Being the youngest member of the Federal Cabinet, Hon. Isalean Phillip works diligently to raise the profile and representation of women and youth leadership in public and political life.
