Krista James, originally from the United States relocated to St. Kitts in 2009 after visiting the federation annually since 1990. Her love for the island, combined with a desire to further her career in education, inspired her move. Krista lives in St. Kitts with her two children, who were born and raised here.  They enjoy exploring the island’s natural beauty. She has worked in several private learning institutions as both a teacher and educational leader, namely St. Kitts International Academy. Krista holds a BS in Special Education, a minor in Information Technology, and an MA in Educational Leadership. With over 25 years of experience, she is passionate about creating rigorous, engaging curriculum in nurturing learning environments for children and families.
