Glenroy Blanchette is the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of National Security, Citizenship and Immigration in the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis. His portfolio of responsibilities includes administrative oversight of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, the St. Kitts and Nevis Defence Force and Coast Guard, His Majesty’s Prison, Fire & Rescue Services, Immigration Department, Drug Council, and the National Crime Commission. He also serves on the Technical Committee of the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Unit.

Mr Blanchette had a long and distinguished career as an educator at primary, secondary and tertiary educational institutions in St. Kitts. He holds a Trained Teacher’s Certificate and a BA Degree in Geography from the University of the West Indies as well as a MSc Degree in Risk, Crisis & Disaster Management from the University of Leicester, UK.

Mr. Blanchette is the published author of the book “The Truth About Robert L. Bradshaw – Father of Independence for St. Kitts and Nevis.” He is also an avid nature and wildlife photographer and calypsonian.
